AZATHOTH pt. 5

from AZATHOTH by Krakenkraft

/

about

A multi-part one hour ambient drone based with very slowly and timid developing textures, morphing in harmonic and disharmonic structures, created with electronic, modular and physical instruments and field recordings.

Based on the idea of AZATHOTH, a mindless god in the Cthulhu Mythos and Dream Cycle stories of US writer H. P. Lovecraft. In my interpretation AZATHOTH can only be viewed as the cosmic beginning of ambient drone music and yes I'm making fun of it ;-)

Playtime ca. 1 hour. FLAC lossless.

lyrics

"And there might have been sweetness even in the voices of Ulthar's many cats, but that they were mostly heavy and silent from strange feasting. Some of them stole off to those cryptical realms which are known only to cats…" -- H.P.Lovecraft
